BOARD OF DIRECTORS
With a background of 15 years in medical diagnostic sales, Clint co-founded Infection Prevention Technologies (IPT), one of the first hospital UVC disinfection companies to market. With their disruptive and patented technology, Clint was active with both the product development and go-to-market strategy. This resulted in a successful domestic and international product launch which subsequently resulted in a profitable company acquisition. Clint was also a lead investor and advisor for an animal health diagnostic company that is currently developing 3 highly innovative and novel diagnostic testing platforms for the veterinary market. Clint holds multiple patents and currently continues to advise and invest in early seed-stage companies.
His passion for science education and research led Clint to start a non-profit foundation that works within the community to provide funding specifically in the areas of STEM education and scholarships to students. Clint holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University.
Dr. Eleanor Green
Dr. Eleanor M. Green, Dean Emerita of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University, is Senior Advisor and Consultant for Animal Policy Group. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) and Diplomate Emeritus of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP). Dr. Green received a Bachelor of Science (BS) from the University of Florida and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Auburn University. She established a veterinary practice in Mississippi as partner/owner. She became a founding faculty member of the newly approved College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University and contributed to the development of all aspects of a burgeoning veterinary college. In a partnership with the North American Veterinary Community and its Veterinary Innovation Council, she helped establish the first of its kind Veterinary Innovation Summit (VIS) at Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Green also helped create the Veterinary Entrepreneurship Academy with a group of visionary veterinarians. In 2020, she became a founding board member of the Veterinary Virtual Care Association (VVCA). Dr. Green has a special interest in the future of veterinary medicine and the innovations that will help ensure a thriving profession.
Bill Evo JD, CEG, is the Chief Strategy Officer and General Counsel for Aatru Medical, LLC, which has developed and patented a unique and innovative negative pressure dressing. He has worked and consulted in numerous industries including advertising, entertainment, sports, legal, healthcare, insurance, information technology, automotive, real estate, telecommunications and mindfulness training. After a career in professional hockey, Bill became licensed as a lawyer and worked several years in business and pro sports and entertainment both as an agent and an executive including president of the Detroit Red Wings. During his tenure with the Wings, he was instrumental in the development of the celebrated Hockeytown brand and grass roots marketing campaign. He was subsequently partner and president of the Capital Centre, LLC, a multi-million dollar sports and entertainment complex in Lansing, MI which now includes ice arenas, basketball courts, hotels, restaurants and other synergistic businesses. He has since coached and consulted for numerous individuals in personal growth and development and businesses on various matters with an emphasis on strategic growth, legal and marketing.
Currently serving as the Entrepreneur-in-Residence in the life sciences for GLIDE, BioEnterprise and Jumpstart, Russ Donda has over 25 years of executive and startup entrepreneurial experience. He serves on multiple startup boards, is an inventor on a number of patents, and among other startup projects, he was the founding CEO and chairman for ViewRay, a startup developing a novel form of radiation therapy. It was subsequently venture funded and is now publicly traded (Nasdaq: VRAY). Mr. Donda is a founding member of, and co-chair of investment review for, the Emergent Growth Fund, LLC (www.emergentgrowth.com), an angel investment fund; he was also a cofounder of, and spearheaded business development for, Regeneration Technologies, now publicly traded (Nasdaq: RTIX).

Steven Lamont is a strategy and marketing professional with a track record of success leading growth initiatives, especially in the communications and high technology arenas. He has served as Chief Marketing Officer for major companies, as well as consulted to many leading companies.
His mission is to act as a trusted advisor to help emerging communications and high-technology companies succeed with the best marketing and business strategy/execution, serving in roles such as board member, advisory board member, interim CMO, or consulting project leader.
Dr. Jenshan Lin
Jenshan Lin currently researches and teaches in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Florida. After receiving his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from UCLA, Dr. Lin worked at Bell Labs of AT&T and Lucent Technologies, and Agere Systems, a spin-off from Lucent Technologies. Dr. Lin holds fourteen patents to-date and his current research includes sensors and biomedical applications of microwave and millimeter-wave technologies, wireless energy transmission, RF system-on-chip integration, and integrated antennas. Dr. Lin enables SMP to continually upgrade its core technology and maintain its position as the superior life-monitoring device on the market.
Amanda Burkardt is an animal health industry consultant and has over 10 years of industry and academic experience. At the beginning of her career, Amanda was heavily involved in research and worked over six years in several different university laboratories focused on food science, animal reproduction, microbiology, and finally landing
in molecular biology where she completed her master’s degree. Out of this research a technology was patented and a company formed where she now leads product development efforts. She then obtained her MBA and a Master of Information Technology to aid in further developing this research on a commercial level.
Amanda has recently relocated to Germany, where she continues to travel and consult with her clients in the Midwest, along with her new European network including animal health consulting firms, entrepreneurs, publications, government organizations, universities, and large animal health companies. Amanda offers a variety of consulting services and has a passion for animal health innovations and bridging the divide between science
and business with her company and network, Nutripeutics Consulting.
Ashby Green joins the company as an Advisory Board member bringing nearly 25 years of accounting, finance, and leadership experience to VetGuardian. As an expert strategist, Ashby has consistently delivered on preparing companies for scale, nurturing strong (cool) cultures, mitigating risk through growth and having organizations fully prepared for acquisition or exit.
An entrepreneur in every sense of the word, Ashby is a connector, community builder, growth catalyst and a servant leader with a huge social conscience. He has served on several committees and boards such as Leadership St. Pete, Junior Achievement, Truist Tampa Bay Advisory Board, the Board of Starting Right Now and the Board of US Federal Contractor Registration. The previous CFO of the Year (2017) jumps at every opportunity to get involved in community causes and events. He was the recipient of the FL Governor’s Business Ambassador Award in 2016 while at Kobie Marketing and is an adjunct professor at the University of Tampa teaching Entrepreneurial Finance.
Being raised on a farm by veterinarians from birth through high school, he couldn’t be more excited to get back to his roots by serving as an advisor to VetGuardian.
With over 20 years of experience and an acute understanding of the animal health market, he has honed his ability to achieve accelerated revenue growth, lasting customer relationships, and industry-leading results. Over the course of his dynamic career, he has successfully launched over 30 veterinary products on behalf of global corporations and startup enterprises.
Current responsibilities include appointment as the As the Chief Commercial Officer at Zomedica, prior to joining Zomedica, Bruk was Executive Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Voyce Inc., as well as served as Executive Sr. Director & Head of U.S. Sales at IDEXX Laboratories, where he was responsible for in-clinic and reference lab diagnostics, point of care solutions, information technologies, and digital radiography solutions.
He has also held sales leadership roles in patient monitoring, pharmacy and diagnostics with Omnicare Specialty Care Group and Life Systems. Bruk holds a Bachelor of Science in business from the University of Arizona.
Known as a highly accomplished and forward-thinking leader, Bruk excels in unifying teams to achieve common goals and deliver best-in-class products and services that positively impact both the customer experience and animal health.
Dr. Eric Bregman
Dr. Eric Bregman began his under-graduate degree at the University of Houston and after three years he received an early acceptance to the University of Pennsylvania to study veterinary medicine. Upon graduation from UPenn he completed a formal internship in medicine and surgery at the Oradell Animal Hospital in Oradell, New Jersey. Currently, Eric is President of the New York State Veterinary Medical Society, and active in the New York City Veterinary Medical Association and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Association. Dr. Bregman is a certified Radiation Officer and is licensed to administer radioactive iodine to treat feline hyperthyroidism. He is a Category II U.S.D.A. accredited veterinarian, and is licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey, Florida and Pennsylvania. Dr. Eric Bregman is also the proud owner of two Cairn terriers, Lily and Woodford.
